Neodymium magnets( Rare Earth magnets ) are the most powerful permanent magnets in the world. They are also referred to as NdFeB magnets.

Neodymium magnets are graded by the ingredients they are produced from ( rare earth elements ), by the manufacture. There is a internationalratingnumbersystem in use.

( therating numberfollowing the N), for exampleN35 orN42 are typical grades..the higher the number generally the stronger the magnet.

The highest and most expensive grade of neodymium magnet available isN52.
