Officially "AEC Mk I Gun Carrier". Armoured version of the Matador truck mounting a 6 pounder anti-tank gun. Beginning in 1942, 175 were converted for service in the North African campaign. Post North Africa, some were sold to Turkey, while most were reconfigured to armoured ammunition carriers.
