The Panzer IV Ausf.C is a slightly improved version of the near identical Ausf. B. A total of 134 were manufactured from September 1938 to August 1939. Active in Poland, France, the Balkans, and the Soviet Union. Phased out due to attrition, a handful were employed against the Normandy landings in 1944.
