This box contains 14 Napoleonic French Line Lancers. 12 plastic lancers and 2 metal command figures.Napoleon ordered the creation of 9 lancer regiments after witnessing their effectiveness at the Battle of Wagram in 1809.

Armed with their 9 foot long lances they could unleash a devastating charge against either infantry or cavalry and would also frequently used as scouts giving them a jack of all trades utility their commanders soon came to value.
